Well while lucky to have a garage its ridiculously small so somewhere under all this is the e30 bmw i am turning into a drag car ,i have to store all the bits i have taken off to do some welding around the back on the front of the car ....what i would give for a double garage

Going to Usa for the first time ever (really excited about that),going to Vegas first getting married while i am there then renting a car and going on a 10 day drive ,i will be hunting for some old junk yards to look around and hopefully get to see some drag racing ,it looks like we will be...

all good until you come to a corner at any kind of speed ,I almost crashed my hotrod once going into a roundabout the car could get around no problem ,I on the other hand slid right across the seat ended up with my face on the passenger side door feet up in the air just holding onto the steering...

So this one WHY is that engine mounded so high the sump is almost the same hight as the chassis rails ,personally to me it think it looks silly , a big engine looks verry good but mounts so high looks wrong i wouldnt like to go around a corner in it .

Will I enjoyed the first post and the second one,his description of building that car sounded like my experience building mine,Shame one person can put someone off ,It cant have been one of the regular posters that sent that pm that just isnt the attitude of this site in any of my experience . Shame
