Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is staying healthy and doing well. I haven't looked around yet and probably won't until next week. Just wanted to check in...prove life and send some pictures of the septic project. It's been a tough one....and expensive. Was supposed to take 10 days. They started on June 4th and finished on the 27th. No weekends. Tough setting the tanks since I have such a high water table. We put in solid pipe from the leaders to the storm drains, a french drain on the side of the house where I had a water issue and also graded the yard away from the house.

Here's some pictures. The black Swiss cheese pic is the old metal tank they took out, the new system consists of 2 large tanks 6x6x10, UV light and an air rater. It's like a small water treatment plant.....all cause we are in a lake community. 50K not including the yard, pond, pool work I yet have to do. New trellis I built so the wisteria can grow on. Pond guy starts Monday. RAT ROD CONTENT: ZIP, NUTTIN, HAVEN"T DONE A THING. Motor still at the shop and I've been just too distracted to call. Maybe next week I will

Unfortunately, that is what adults are suppose to do, and why there is a difference between what we want to do, and what we need to do.
Sometimes being an adult sucks. You will make it through, and then the other project might be fun again.

So true pal... hope you are well!

The pond project has started. Just to be clear and not steal the credit, my good friend Vincenzo is building the pond. He's a landscaper / pond builder and awesome mason. We had a god awful rain the other night and the high water table / ground water took us off track, but here's a start.

Hey Guys....hope all is well still now work on the truck. Did speak to my engine guy yesterday and he's moving along. I'm in no rush cause I'm on this yard deal. Septic is done and am having the pond installed....it's huge and going to be very cool. Once that's in we're going to sod that area and install a pool on the other side. The pond guy is going to rock the outside of the pool walls

Hey Guys, I hope everyone is well and having fun building. I've been working extremely hard on the yard, ponds in and dressed up, fireplace is built, and new hot tub area. I'm tired of dragging the hose and sprinklers around so I had a 8 zone sprinkler system installed. It even has a zone for hanging pots and shrubs...all automated and programmable from my laptop. Sods down and the joint looks awesome. I'm making a containment area so the dog can't ruin the sod with ss cable and ss hardware. I'll post some pics of that tomorrow. My son sold the last 65 he built and finished the 60 so there is some room in his shop so shortly he'll give me a hand to get the project cranked back up.
He has someone coming in from Cali to look at the 60 this weekend. Some pictures. Hopefully frame pictures soon.
