Snopro, I remember seeing both of those vehicles there.
E-man, There's nothing else you can do except,--- move up here and then be a snowbird for the winter and visit Arizona. It's really not the snow and cold in the winters that I hate up here, it's the lack of car shows.

I worked like mad for the last few days trying to get my '36 Ford running nicely again so I could go to A&W tonight. I fixed five things in the fuel system. One head had to come off to fish out a throttle shaft bolt, and the front two carbs had to be cleaned and rebuilt. Each carb had two things wrong. I got to A&W a little late but there many cars there, so here are a few. Two of the cars were owned by ladies; the black Monte Carlo and the red with blue flames, '38 Chev pick-up.

There were quite a few cars at A&W on Thursday, but I didn't get very far, sight seeing because people kept wanting to talk to me. I did get a picture of a couple of cars though. A '65 Chev and a '39 Dodge coupe.

Thanks for posting Mac. You were saying there weren't enough car shows where you are. Ever consider organizing something yourself? For sure everyone at A&W feels the same as you.

Oh E-man, I misled you. I meant that there are not any car shows in out winter [6 months]. There are quite a few shows in the summer. Also, I volunteer at two local museums and am the president of our northern tractor club, so I'm quite busy.
There is a lady that manages all of the A&W's in our city, and she takes a special interest in the old cars. She is our leader and she is so smooth at it that no-one realized that they are being led. Everybody just thinks they get lucky a lot. This Thursday evening A&W is putting on a big show to donate lots of mula to multiple sclerosis, [MS].

You didn't mislead Mac, i missfollowed. Comes from priding myself for not being a follower i suppose....

I get quite a kick out of guys who can appear to be bungling the English language badly, but nobody 'missfollows' them, so they are still communicating proficiently. Keep up the good work, Guys.

Well you know what precedes Friday, --- right, Thursday. We had a biggish car show at A&W. Here are some of the cars that I haven't shown much before. The truck that I drove, ['55 Merc] was the one hundredth entry and it looked like there were fifty more after me. My son-in-law drove my '36 Ford in.
This was a Thursday evening at A&W but not a regular one.

I went to A&W again. There were a lot of cars there so I took some pictures. The '39 Dodge coupe was there again and I got a better shot at it.

The paint condition on the 39 Dodge suits it well. Shiny paint on these is like trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear right?
