I built a drift trike a while back and never really liked it after I built it. I was going to add 2 front wheel and convert it to a go kart but not feeling that. Looking for ideas for a good use of this engine. Pretty much brand new. I want a toy too. Nothing practical. Thanks. Jim

i put one on a gokart and remodeled 2 battery golf carts for friends with those. They work great. one of my buds told me his golf cart makes 37 mph...😮

The wheels on most are 4 luggers, so hubs for a new axel is available easily. The only things needed to change a golf cart is a new axel along along with sprockets for that, the horizontal shaft motor, a torque averter which comes with 2 different options for sprockets for using either a 35 chain or a 40 chain, a small disk brake for the new axel and the original brake linkage was easily used with that, and a new throttle cable to hit the motor. I did one that was aluminum framed and light so it was the one that hauled ass I mentioned, the other was heavier steel framed and we placed a flat bed made of wood on the back of it that turned into a kids party barge that has made more trips up and down the driveway out here than most cars...I believe both were built for less than $400. My go kart is really light and does 32 mph, which is rough on the body on his bumpy ground. I built mine with quarter elliptical front axel spring set up but that little bit of suspension doesn't help much on my old bones.
