    Almost there.... This truck has definately been a buger, but I think we finally have undone all the wrong done things, if that makes sense. I was mounting the new Billet Trans dip stick when I went to check the mounting location on the fire wall to make sure I didn't have any clearace issues...

    More Progress.... and of course found some other things that will take a bit of time to work out.... Did a mock up on the modern bed and got the rear raised about 1-3/4" to its new home, makiong sure the body lines flow as good as possible, so I will be fabricating a new piece to fasten teh...

    So long for now... Found out the goat had a dash melt down that was never properly fixed, so many hours later after removing the burned wires, and melted multitude we got is all back together and back to the owner, so he can enjoy the fall with it. So a small recap: New Head-unit, new dash...

    Wow... this really sounds good! Still making progress on the 68... Exhaust showed up finally, it was on back order... it turned out really well, only made some small modifications to make it just right. and the Thrush turbos really sound good with the 'H' Pipe and long tube headers.... I know...

    Yeah... thiose chrome pans can be a bugger sometimes, I found that a rubber gasket works best, after monkeying with the cork gaskets, but having a clean burr free serface is critical... I fought the one on the 68 C10 we are working on where someone stripped a bolt hole, tapped it and never...

    Audio Anyone? Installed new kick panel speakers, a new dash speaker setup and new headunit, had to make some adjustments to the headunit to get everything to fit like it should, but the end result is pretty good.
