when i started colecting parts for m latest buil i was looking for a 22re and auto. as i intend on driving everyday i can and i drive 60 miles aday back and forth to work. wound up with a 3.8 v6 chevy with a 350 lockup. oh well . that 22r will pull it along just fine .

if you dont want a togle switch to for get about turning on and off use this vacume switch where it is. standard motor products # vx3. the brake light switch breaks the ground when the brakes are aplied. its a 4 prong switch for cruise control/lock up

dose the whole carier look like that all round , the part in between the ring gears teeth and the carier brg. might be an early cast spool. they used to make some that looked like that before they started machining them nice and perty

are you using anything from the original car? i think the only thing i recognize is the rear axle. they should have just got you to build them a car and saved whatever money they waisted on rhe first heap.

first off very nice work. what are the plans for the original body it came in with? with the way it looks in the pics theres not enough room between the round tubes for the trany to come out the bottom, or will the body have to come off to take it out?

rpm ron pope makes weld on wings for the I beam style axles. cheap enough.

take a wire coat hanger. form it up like you need. center of opening to center of opening. now you got a form to go by. take that to the parts store.

i beleive you will be making another braket off the engine. and just a word of advice. ditch the k-n filter. they dont filter enough dirt and kill mass air sensors with there oil. just helpfull advice from someone who knows.

thats pretty cool i guess, but the links conecting it to the top of the rear axle look extremely weak to me.

is it worth it to you? would you be happy with a home made one or do you want an original? titleing it might be complicated.

the switch on the left is for ignition and lights. on the right it has charge / discharge on the top and oil pressure on the bottom. in the center it says miles per hour in the top, miles in the center , and a trip on the bottom. the trip is restable from the botom rear. takes a female square...
