Has anyone ever c notched the front end of a frame for the front straight axel? My buddy was showing me some pictures of his27 studabaker he has at the shop. They put a c notch and built the purch up hi so the frame can lay low. Has anyone ever seen this done before?

Ok, here it is... I have a 50 f-1. Rear end is a 93 f150 . Got a new aftermarket master cylinder from a sand rail shop. Gonna use pedal from a 61 ford truck.... Could I just put a t after master cylinder and cap off the front ones and just hook up to rear? How safe is that?
