Yep, I would say 41-46 Chevy/GMC half ton truck axle.

anyone still build Diecast cars??? lets see em

If you have a Walmart nearby, you might check it out as most are carrying model kits again. Also hobby lobby or Michaels as they both have 40% off coupons all the time. I still build the occasional model kit. Here a '29 RPU I'm about done with. Untitled by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr And one...

1935 chevy sedan straight 6. what tranny will bolt up?

I would think you'll have to change the transmission as I don't think there's a way to hook the torque tube up to and open drive rear axle. Also originally that engine/drivetrain was not designed to do those speeds. Just my opinion.

    Well I guess it's started

Not the first time I've seen that, even did it myself to a jeep I had a few years back lol.

    front spring

I'm doing the same thing with my '42 Chevy truck axle and I had to get a 26" T bucket spring for the tires to clear at full lock. But your mileage may vary. You pretty much need to have everything mocked up on the axle then measure for the spring.

Picked up a Ford 300 & 4 speed trans today

I think its the 87-up 300's out of the trucks have split exhaust manifolds, which is a cheap way to run duals and make em sound a lot better. I've 2 pickups and 2 full sized broncos with the 300. The trucks I had were fuel injected and the broncos were carbed. The carbed motors had more power...

Hopin' u got u're antifreeze on!!!

Their website says it mixes with any brand/type of antifreeze. Bobw, I sometimes get the premixed jugs, its nice when you're just topping off a radiator. When I'm filling an empty system the non premixed is OK but around here I can get two gallons of premixed for the same price as one gallon of...

Hopin' u got u're antifreeze on!!!

Like everyone else has said, you don't want to run straight antifreeze. The water helps lubricate the seals and such in the water pump. We always ran antifreeze in the stockcar too, but a lot of guys were switching to WaterWetter which raises the boiling temp of just running straight water.

Oooops! I did it again !!!!

I look forward to following this, Don all of your builds are fantastic and I'm sure this one won't disappoint. I've seen MII suspensions used on 3,000 lb race cars with no problems even with stock spindles and control arms, I've also seen MII used on pickups with big blocks so I don't see why it...

My 49' Ford Rat Rod build...

I don't think it will be a problem. The masters should have the same size bore, they are the same size trucks after all. If it will help you out I just bought a 1990 s-one-oh the other day and can post a pic of the brake lines and master so you can get an idea of how it was originally.

What "style" flames do ya like?

Flames are fantastic no matter the style, but the style needs to fit the vehicle they're on. Untitled by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr This is my bike I painted a couple years ago with rattle cans, came out pretty good I think. I plan to repaint it and do ghost flames next time.

1933 chevy tudor sedan aka Project Copper Tone!

Maybe just a water pump lol. I used to have a giant Alaskan malamute named Chinook, she was a darn fine/huge dog weighing in around 125 and thought she was a lap dog. Hopefully you get the shop dried out so you can get back to work. You're doin a fine job!
