    While coming home from town tonight, we saw a young mother moose and a really young calf. A fun fact that many of you won't know is; 63 years ago I was picking roots in this very field to pay for my first pick-up truck, a '47 Ford.

    One of your tests could be; run your truck till it starts burping and then shut it off, put it out of gear, and roll to a stop. Then check in your sight glasses to see if you really are out of gas or it is some other problem. While you're under the hood then, feel the coil, if it's too hot...

    I'm a real valve cover kinda guy, so I can live with a Chevy motor if it looks like that. But I've got back to fixing up a "Ford" Y-block and adding a T-5 transmission out of a Mustang.
