Speaking of models, my oldest brother who is about 70, still has a closet completely full of unopened models from the 50's and 60's..Got to be hundreds of them in that closet..I've only seen behind that door twice in my lifetime..

yes, probably hundreds of them..mostly cars, but a few airplanes and ships also.. lots of customizing,swapping parts, custom paints etc..

I'm in Aerospace manufacturing (non union) and happy to say that most of it is still built here..The exeption is the new 787 Dreamliner,its assembled here but with subassemblies made all over the globe..Mostly Germany and Japan.. I remember looking at new flags at Walmart sometime after 9/11...

From the center of one to the inside of the 2nd stud over gives a pretty good approximation..the given number is the diameter if you drew a circle thru the center of any three studs, or bolt circle.. That said, not sure what space saver would fit a 5x5 pattern, trucks had full size...

I've got one of the 110/220 Hobart Airforce 400..Its rated for 1/2" ..Don't know if it would make any difference being on 220,never tried it, but really 1/4" is about all it wants on 110..but most of what I do is 1/8" or 3/16" so it works fine for me.. They sure make sheetmetal easy to work with..

I thinkin he should have just parked the thing on the higher ground where he is standing instead of in a hole..

Looking really good Don, I really like the bead detail you rolled into the bedside, would have liked to do that on mine, but I had 16 gauge and my little cheesy roller doesn't like 16 gauge at all..oh, well

Got a few minutes the other day and cut out the center of the floor so I can get started on my tunnel..Nothing picture worthy yet though..Space in the back is limited..Trying to make room in the back for a 10 gallon fuel cell that I already have..The 11 gallon spun aluminum tank from speedy bill...

I don't have anything to offer, but I know you will get it figured out and make it cool..I really like that cab alot..
