    Blacksmith Class

Ah! hammers....I doubt I have quite as many as Dutch, but I have quite a few. Everything from about an ounce or two up to a big muther 14 pounder. Most of the heavy stuff gets a lot of 3 lb. work. If you do it for years, you'll eventually notice that the size of your swinging arm is larger than...

    Blacksmith Class

Cool! Hope you enjoy it. I've been into blacksmithing for about 50 years although I'm not a professional. Self trained and really put it to use on knife making although some of it gets used on most of my projects. Love the feeling that the tough steels can be beat with heat and hammer...By the...

I built one on here, however it is not complete....yet! It's been beat on by bunches of kids out here both young and old. You might get a kick out of it! Link below to my build: https://www.ratrodsrule.com/threads/cyclops.35814/

    Anyone running a GPS speedo?

I was going to mention that also but forgot. I only notice it when driving past a power substation. It goes out but comes back quickly after you pass the substation. Another thing to take into consideration. When starting the vehicle wait about 30 seconds and the signal connects then you get...

    Anyone running a GPS speedo?

I have one in both my 31 A model an my 83 C10. I love mine! Easy to install. They get away from the need to worry about gear changes in the speedo drive unit regardless of transmission or rear end gearing and tire size. That was one thing I hated when after making any kind of change in that...

Anybody build a Traditional hot rod??

What is the breaking point now in traditional meaning? I don't consider mine traditional but the parts are all in the 50 year old range. Not that it really matters, I built with what I had and what I could find to make what I wanted figuring that was what building was and what it is supposed to be.

So how do you pick your next project?

I'm fighting the same feelings Bob! But I'm making my projects my reason to keep going. I've already told my family and close friends to tread lightly when trying to tell me to slow down. I'm likely to be found face down in whatever project I was on when the last tick of the clock happens. But...
