something to keep me out of the bar

It is a good thing when I'm too busy to drink. Not a mean drunk, just truly obnoxious. This way I make money instead of spending it.

First build thread, adding a door.

The first photo is the part of the old cab. I hung the door on suicide hinges, braced it up and cut the jamb out. The second is the hole I cut in the side of his cab. No turning back now!!!

    Donor Car with TBI?

If you are a stingy SOB like I am, the cheapest/simplest way would be to move EVERYTHING (fuel tank w/pump, wiring harness, tbi system, ect) from your donor to the project. A little more labor but worth it to be sure everything works as intended, IMO.

I want a bike... what to look for?

A site called chopperbuildershandbook is n awesome resource for info and plans for building anything...

I want a bike... what to look for?

If you want to make alot of changes (new frame) you should aim for something with a chain. If you want to do small changes (a little lower or cosmetic things) them a shaft drive is the $#%@. The shaft limits the location of your rear tire. Other than that, it is pretty much about personal...

Who does cutom metal stamping/ embossing raise letters

I saw an article in Hot Rod (?) years ago. The did a tailgate by using a router to cut the logo they wanted into a sheet of MDF (positive or negitive would depend on if you wanted raised or recessed letters) and mounted it to a base that could be mounted in the bottom of a press brake. Then...
