Ok guys i have an 80s yamaha seca i want to chop its a 4 cylinder bike and i want a hardtail but dont were to start cuting or if someone builds a hard tail section for it any info would help thanks Robert

SECA 400 or 550 ?

Those were strong bikes back in the day.
Don't have any info to offer but I would probably leave the rear suspension the way it was.

Just my opinion.
Post up some pics if you can....might be surprised and get some good ideas and advice for the project itself.

If you're still interested, www.thehorsemag.com has an article it the "article" section complete w/pics. If you can weld, it's not too tough. I've built several.
