    Turkey run

I drove up on Thursday, but couldn't stay long...something came up and I had to be back at work Friday morning. I looked around for a while and couldn't find anyone although I was there early and left around 3pm. I'll post up my pictures today or tomorrow. Great show! That's the biggest car...

    37 IHC Build

Bottom End Just a little update and documentation. Got the bottom end put together...something that is mind numbing boring, but also very detailed and takes for ever. Setting ring end gap and checking bearing clearances...I'd rather be snipe hunting. Oh well at least the hard part is done...

    God, I love this place!!!

You know I was just thinking about this today. I'm member on several sites that i visit and read and search for information, but RRR is my home and the only place that I post anything anymore. I'm actually nervous that when/if I start my belly tank project in the spring if it would be accepted...

    Losing my shop space

Hey Charley, Sorry to hear all your troubles with your current shop owner and such. I would agree with Don that moving on and putting this behind you is going to be the best way to handle it. You don't want to have to deal with them messing around with your stuff and causing you more...

    No other like it.

Sounds like you've done your homework. I don't know enough about the standards for pipe to give input on it, maybe someone else does. A lot of guys here have a ton more experience than I do and everyone does things differently. Three things that I would say do more homework on are: 1...

    Jesse James coming back ???

I'm with Dr. C. on this I really think Jesse James would kill it on a build off with any of the American Chopper crew. I really liked the build off shows as well...best part of that show is when the two builder meet and crusie together to the event where it all goes down. Another one of my...

I think you'll still have bumpsteer and might put a lot of stress on the tie rod ends...but with this thing being so different I could be completely wrong as well! -Troy

I wouldn't be using any type of sprinkler pipe in any part of your build. Keep in mind that stuff was never intended to carry a load other than it's own weight. And if you can haul a 21' piece of that 6 1/2 inch pipe on your shoulder it tells me that it isn't very thick and I see in one photo...

Ok, I see that, but it looks like the tubes are welded together...but it's hard to tell in the picture. Innovative to say the lease...curious how it's going to turn out...I agree with BigIrish on the bumpsteer. -Troy

That thing is going to look killer! Questions...how does the suspension travel...I might be missing something, but it looks like everything is welded together up front?? Also what kind of pipe are you using? Keep up the good work![cl[cl[cl -Troy
