I scored a really nice 34 ford frame and have decided to turn it into my version of a late 50's style of traditional street rod with a flare of Bonneville.

Nice collection of parts. Is that a Rotofaze distributor? And is the air cleaner a marine item?

No the distributor is a Spalding Flame thrower from the late 50's and Yes the air cleaner is a Nicson from the old Navy PT boats in Vietnam.

I have a 46 Dodge cab and a 41 Chevy cab, but I am not completely convinced that either one is exactle what I want. I will be looking for a body out of the 30's most likely and it must be a closed cab this time..... I can get the frame boxed and all the hairpins on and motor w/ trans all mounted and then figure out the cab, The right cab will turn up[dr besides I am very excited about the original 34 frame it is a great platrofm for just about anything and will fit into the salt flat style I am shooting for...

Wel I scored a 37 ford cab for my now boxed in 34 frame. I am now 100% sure on the build, I was struggling with my mental picture of my other options.
But would you look at this.. a ford cab for a ford frame; wierd concept huh? still puting a chevy in it though..[ddd[cl[cl NOW IT'S ON, BUILD TIME![

A little more stuff for the 37

I have scrounged a few cool parts and have a few more in store. So far I have: Fenton headers, Spalding flame thrower, Dual Remy Delco coils, Dual 600 cfm on a Offy 360 intake, Twin Nicson spark arrestors, Glenwood timing cover, Edelbrock old script valve covers, Summit 1107 cam, 327 getting bored .030 over, 194 heads with rollers and Isky 3 spring valve springs, 9.5.1 flat tops in front of a 2 speed powerglide witha 3500 stall and 9" ford with 343 gears...
