    Top end noise

I was working on my truck yesterday with a friend trying to get some things done. We did succeed in getting the lights and wipers to work properly which led to a little celebration cruise on the back roads by his house. On our way back I laid into it pretty good in 2nd gear and was pretty high...

    Speedometer....Go speed racer gogo

Are you thinking 250 down a drag strip with a top fuel motor? I bet it would be awfully hard to make a $9400 (when new in 77) car go as fast as the $1.4 million Bugatti Veyron with its main purpose of design was to be the fastest production car in the world.

    LMC Truck

LMC is a company located in Kansas City that sells new and rebuilt OE quality parts. They have 47-06 Chevy, 67-06 GMC, 48-06 Ford, and 94-07 Dodge truck parts. They have pretty much everything from bumper to bumper. I've bought a few thing from them so far and haven't had a problem yet. No...

    opinions????

I'm not a big fan of the exhaust or the grill that sticks wayyy out like that. The rest of the truck looks good though.

    What does everyone do?

No problem! It's interesting to know what everyone does. For some reason I am suprised that not everyone works on cars for a living like I do. I guess maybe I knew that I wouldn't be able to afford to work on my own stuff so I should work on other people's cars. Or maybe it's just too hard...

Ha ha ha..ha....ha a weekdend, what is that. I don't get weekends off from work, I get random days off during the week and not one after another.

    pay it foward???????

That's a great idea! It is hard to sell stuff that really isn't worth anything to you because then you don't know what kind of fair price you could get. I would like to trade my 'junk' for someone elses 'junk'.

    How hard do you drive?

I take it easy most of the time. Reason 1: can't afford tickets, fines, breakdowns, etc. Reason 2: job Reason 3: don't like listening to people (cops) tell me how I broke some law that I knowingly disregarded and ignored for my own enjoyment

    Easyrods

I found this site a long time ago. http://www.easyrods.com I thought they were a decent idea since the donor cars are a dime a dozen. Figured I would share the site and see what you think about them.

    What does everyone do?

I've gone through a lot of threads on this site since I joined and can figure out what some of you do, but what do the rest of you do for a living? I'm kind of at a stepping stone right now, I was at a Chrysler/Jeep dealership for awhile until I had to move recently. Now I'm at Sears waiting...

More Shift Knobs, Post Em Here

I just got a cool idea the other night. I was at my friends house listening to his band practice and picked up a bass guitar that some one gave him. He wants to make a lamp out of it so that got me thinking.. I want to use the neck of a bass or electric guitar as a shifter.

    Pegboard examples

At work I'm meticulous about my tool organization. I use a toolbox and just recently got a new roll cart to hold all my commonly used tools. I would feel unorganized if things were just hanging from the wall, although I have to admit that donsrods peg boards look good.

anny body for South Dakota I need a hand

The El Camino cood be a rat if you wanted it to be. If you don't want to use that then figure out what car/truck you want to build and look for one. The little bit of advice that I could give you is look for a solid body and chassis. That way there is less chance of getting discouraged from...

    Wheels..

I originally was going to paint my steel wheels black. Well, I was using a wire wheel on a drill to clean off the old gray paint and little bit of rust, and as I got down to the bare metal, I (and the wife) decided that we liked that look instead. I was going to leave the lines left from the...
