I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that, due to the age of your truck, you will most likely only need to make 45 degree double flares. The pictoral how-to that DMW56 posted earlier will show you exactly what you need to do. That's exactly how I do it and I'm a licensed mechanic.:)...
