42 flatty thanks for the help, I have been reading up , trying to learn as much as I can I do have a few flatty how to's but there is soo much left to interpretation, so its always good to get advise from guys who actually have them and are not trying to sell you parts! I was already thinking...

hi there I have a 42 flat head fresh rebuild but all stock, I would like to start dressing it up. I found a cool offy intake with tri carb set up but don't know what year its from looks to me like early fifties?? my Q is will this work on my 42? the bolt pattern looks the same but how can I be sure
