Could have been worse. Sometimes missing (dodging) an animal on the road turns out to be bigger problem. Glad the kids are all okay.

Welcome to the site. Axle looks to be an aftermarket hotrod axle, (speedway, or similar) with a 4 bar set up, and rack and pinion steering. All it lacks is a set of coil overs. The panhard looks a little weak, but I overbuild. The most important components are steering and brakes.

I live on top of a small mesa. Not very high, but high enough to be above much of the light pollution. It allows some great night time photos. Northern Lights, Milky Way, and the latest comets, and shooting stars. As well as a huge amount of satellites, and airplanes.
