basically you need to know the tire size you are going to use. that and the ride height of the chassis determines the profile.that way all the working parts of the chassis can be built to work in their sweet spot. the body is just along for the ride.
Thanx 22, i can weld but i cant computer that well. the comp coup is my good friends car. he also has a blown fuel altered and is recreating the Damn Yankee funny car. when i was shooting that vid of the wing raw fuel hit me in the face!

thanx 22, i saw the pics you took and admit i copied them to my pc.The car did pretty good on its first outing on methanol, it won the A/FX class and got my boss the big trophy. too bad i had to stay at the shop and work!
here is my bosses 65 comet that i built for him to hammer on. its certified to 7.50 and can accept any FORD motor. currently has a 364 inch 302 on methanol and runs 10.0's all day.
