Well for starters, 1914 predates WWII by quite a few years, unless they were still using them in the early 1940's. I'll dig around for ya.

Iv'e never heard of Tiffin so I did a little bit of digging. Not much info but I didn't spend a long time at it.

Tiffin is listed as an American truck manufacturer from 1913 to 1923. The company was also known as the Tiffin Wagon Company and Tiffin Wagon Works. They were based in Tiffin, Ohio and also made farm impliments. It appears that they manufactured wagons in the late 1800's. There is a 1914 Tiffin Truck brochure on sale on ebay here...

And a 1919 Tiffin here...

I didn't find any good Tiffin Truck photos. Just this picture of the plant during a flood in 1913. Not much I know. Maybe someone else will know something more. Sounds rare though.

You might try looking into the Ohio state archives of industry for help.
I am sure the local library would have some sort of information. Only problem for you is the time drive up to Ohio and look in the book farm

Don't mind me much, I just drop in once and awhile to stir the pot and say hello to all. This is all I found on the Tiffin deal.
Good luck on the hunt.
