Cool project,But I see that the frame is not boxed. The first time that thing hooks up it is going to twist it like a pretzel.

The frame should be fine, the engine and trans that was in it was much heavier than what's in it now and the SBC isn't as wild as it looks...also the rear axle is an open dif (no locker). If I was running a locked rear with larger tires (where it would hook up) I would be concerned but the buick frame is a lot heavier than most cars of this era and should hold up.

Not to rain on your parade,But you are talking about 81 year old metal. That 6 that was in there was an anchor but it did not have the kind of torque that that SBC does. That is basically the same frame I have in my 35. It needs to be boxed or it is going to be an issue.

Got the brakes and wiring finished but found two small holes in the front of the radiator.

I like the cowl lights, wired them up on the "accessory" side of the switch for park lights.

It's good to have the seats back in.

Hope to fix the radiator and make up the plug wires then fire it up in a day or two.
