question for ya, are you worried about the shock being mounted to the shackle? 1, will it work right? meaning it will dampen the spring but not the axle as the other end of the shackle is free to move up and down independent of the end with the shock? and 2, won't it cause a very heavy twisting load on the shackle itself? Just my curiousity kicking in. Your ride looks cool but then I have always loved modifieds with wide 5 hubs![P
WEll it s funny you ask when we mounted the shocks we did the bounce test seemed fine to us we did the test with and with out shocks and different mounting angles did'nt seem to matter much so that how we did it we'll see how it works on the street
Hey guys and gals sorry for not posting much the last month or so ,i have'nt forgot about you as a matter a fact i been on here just about everyday but just havent really cared much about my project lately due to the fact that me and my buddy adam both lost our dads to cancer adams dad had in his jaw and neck and my dad had colon cancer that spread to his liverand he passed feb 6th super bowl sunday just before the game.Well that enough of that we have been making progress though got the frame done and painted some body work and other odds and ends i'll get some pic soon just thought i should let RRR know what was up thanks guys

Thanks bob w as of late i've been bustn butt painting motor cycles an making money to put in my truck i wanted to have it done for torque fest but i'm behind maybe the fifties would be a more realistic goal and i to would like to meet you an see your stuff i really like your truck build thanks again for the kind words.
Thanks guys i got the frame painted and installing detroit locker in rear end and making caliper brackets just got seat mounts finished up 2 night i will get sum pics tom.night just been 2 busy to stop to take pics helpin mom out with stuff thanks again jeff
