I have two frames for my 1930 Ford Sedan. One is chopped very very short but it has the vin number. The other has the front horns chopped off and is severely bent. I want to go with the Z frame style with air bags so it will lay out completely flat but since this is my first build on any type of vehicle, I need some specific detail on how to build a frame properly. Any advice will help! Thanks!

Nobody touched this one? First, what do you mean by bent? If it's bent, I doubt it's worth much. The shortened one, you can re-stretch it.

You need to take a look at some of the more in depth build threads on RRR for ideas on building a frame. Then ask some more specific questions.

Nobody touched this one?

I go out of town for a few days and the board goes quiet...:D

You could combine the two frames and get what you want, but you will probably need to box them, ( add plate to the open C channel )

I would probably scratch build one, before I went to all the trouble.

Too little info to give an opinion!! We don't know what your building, eng.,
pics, nothing!! If you want to build a new frame that info is on here already!!

Just ranting, alls OK now!:D
