Rework, sort of. I decided to improve the grill. The one that I previously modified was so rusty at the bottom I couldn’t repair it. It was too thin to weld. I found a grill at a swap meet that was really mangled at the bottom. It did have a fairly decent crank hole though. At another swap meet I found a grill that wasn’t as rusty as my first attempt. By cutting up the two of them I came up with enough pieces to make a much better grill. It will also fit better where it meets the hood.

This weekends progress. Made bungs in the lathe for the shock mounts and head light brackets and welded them into the frame horns. Also made mounting discs for the seat belt anchor points and welded them in. They were made out of 1 1/2 “ round stock, drilled and threaded to 7/16-20 and cut to 1/2” thick. The seat belts came from a mid 90s ford F series.
