What fuzz said. Save every thing from the mustang. untill your done with your build , you will be surprised at how many little things you gan use from the donor car.

My advice is , it's your car build it the way you want it then it will be YOUR car.

That's foolhardy advice that ruins a lot of cars. ANYBODY can cut one up. It takes a "real man" with knowledge and skill to put one back together properly afterwards. ANYBODY can wind up with a useless pile of parts and scrap that's what is left of THEIR car.

Telling someone that is green to all this to tread lightly is not only sage advice, it is the right thing to do. It does look to be a pretty nice car. Nobody is saying to restore it, but decisions should be made carefully after thorough planning.

To the owner - PLEASE, ask lots of questions regarding your car. You can certainly make yourself a really cool little hot rod sedan out of that with minimal effort & expenditure.

That seems to have struck a nerve. ...but honestly BED is correct...there are a ton of "projects" sitting out there that have stalled and or been scrapped due to the owners getting in over their head..doing the wrong things with the right intentions....prudent to move slow, assess your skill level and ask for help when you need to.....so just really is good advise...There is so much knowledge and skilled talent on this site that just jumping in would be a mistake...and could be a costly one....of course this is JMHO.....
