thanks everybody for the encouraging words.the chop is 5in.,and we sectioned it 9in. we cut the bottom of the door off, and welded it to the cab,like a rocker panel.we set the cab back on the frame,and bobbed the bed,of course.we cut the lower lip of the hood off,removed some metal,and welded the lip back on.used the factory cab mounts,but moved them where needed.used the running board mounts for our side pipe mounts.brake pedal,rear susoension,wire harness,and steering box,are all from a 62 chevy p.u..hedders and pipes are off a 56 chevy 210.

just the little rubber ones that came with the pipes,and nothing as far as cab mounts,just big bolts with even bigger washers.

i'm 6feet tall,and fit just right.

Headroom was my only concern . You have the height of a model A and the width of a Kenworth ! Shoulder room is not a problem there

okay, we did get a little carried away on the center sectioning.had to lay the seat back a bit more than i wanted to. my head fits into curved portion of the inside support/headliner mount.

update
