So after the tailgate was all built... it was warped to hell. I got in a hurry:( Thought no big deal I'll shrink that bumpage does. :eek: Ruined it says I!

But then I get thinking[S, why not wheel it in the english wheel? [cl

Here is the result. Looks like I planned that. but, just dumb luck.:)

This is what I was gonna say but, I thought you'd take it the wrong way (Some times a blind hog does get an acorn)
So this is what I'm posting.
I love the way it has the contour both directions :D [cl :cool:
 
Hinges

So here are the pictures of the hidden hinges. The bolts will be through the side of the box and I will use SS hardware.

Tail gate installed.

You can see how the hinge bolts in. Hinge works pretty good. I need to figure out a gate latch now. Thanks for looking.

Old trucks deserve old chains to me but simple or sophisticated, I'm tuned in waiting to see what you do! If you do a hidden latch, what will support the gate when loading the truck or having a place for "sweetie's" derrierre....?[P
