Went and looked at a 49 Lincoln 4 door today. One of those "Started restoring and owner died" stories. Supposed to have a fresh rebuilt flatty in it, didn't notice if it was a Hydro or straight shift. Body was straight, all the chome was supposed to be in the trunk. Seats were MIA, might have been in the pile of junk in the trunk. The lady is asking $3000, it was her husbands car, and it's been sitting 15-20 years in a building in the dry. I think it's too much myself. Sorry no pics, didn't know I was going to look at it until I got there. Might go back in cooler weather and push it back and look under the hood, it's nosed up to a wall, and I saw wasps flying , so I didn't stay in the building too long.

I would make a list of missing, rebuilt (to check if its okay ), needs to be done, ect. Go back with a camera take pics of everything that you can. See if you can turn the motor over by hand, jack it up look under it, how is the frame was it done is it rotted or just a little rusty. Spend some time look it over again look for the missing parts and to see what else is missing. Think about what its going to take to get it the way you want it.

Good luck

It would look a lot better with 4+" taken out of the roof, lowered and (IMO) a different grill. But yeah, 3 is a bit steep.
