Last bunch. Bare steel pickup, old timey 34, really nice Chevy pickup, and a 1950 Diamond T pickup - it it real or created? Dunno, didn't find the owner - the cab looks very International like....
And finally the Hercules, managed to snag Jimmy Shine for a pic with it. He seemed to be a down to earth kind of guy, took the time to talk to as many people as he could and gave me a little too. Not loosing your cool with people yanking you in every direction and asking dumb questions has to be tough, don't think I could do it....

That Packard caught my eye before I read that it was a zz build.

Lots of beautiful cars out your way. Hercules is the strongest though.[cl

I saw some of those at deuce days, pretty cool stuff. The little Falcon was a wild ride! That thing is built for some fast times!

Thanks for taking us along!

My experience with Jimmy Shine was the same. I ribbed him a bit, he ribbed me a bit, and he was a nice down to earth guy.

Nice show, thanks for sharing [cl
Howed the Truck go over[S

Cool thanks for taking us a long Charlie, the Herc run good ?

People were generally befuddled by the whole Hercules thing, but found it to be cool nonetheless, young and old got it. Especially the fact that it lays frame and that the fenders are independent from the body.....
Glen, I did the drive of shame and trailered it to the coast . Just didn't have enough miles on it to go for the 4hr drive with confidence... Just as well, it has an appetite for fan belts - a slight misalignment plus the chrome pulley on the alternator is too slippery - needs a shim and grind the chrome off the v groove. Also some driveline vibration 30 - 50 mph that was disturbing and right around town driving speed :( Took the driveshaft in today to have a one piece unit made with a slip spline yoke, getting rid of the steady bearing and 2 piece driveshaft. Thought I could cheap out by shortening the truck shafts but it bit me in the butt....
Still something funky in the front end causing it dodge left or right when hitting bumps  not bumpsteer because of geometry changes during suspension travel but rather some shift back and forth of some component - demands constant attention when driving - not good - gotta put on the 'ol thinking touque again and solve it.
Still had fun putting around and showing it off - hey, if everything went perfectly, I'd get bored....:D
