Thanks everyone. I'm just trying to finish it in the style and period that the original owner had started and add a little of my personal tastes to it.

I've always belived that we don't really own these car. We are just the caretaker until it's time to pass it on to someone else.

Yes, when the stock heads were painted on the engine that plug got painted. I promise I'll clean it off.

Here's the finished interior. I wanted to keep in the same style that the last owner had started in the 70's. Changed it to a diamond pattern instead of the squares.

Door panels done in velour and vinyl

Carpet

Made new scuff sills the originals were pretty beat up

New divider panel between the trunk and passenger compartment.

Dash with chrome glove box door.

Trunk carpeted. Still going to changed the lid to trunk instead of rumble seat.

New exhaust system. Red's Headers to Smithy muffler and exit out the back.

Yes, there are quite a few cruise nights in Albuqwerky. At least 1-2 every week. It's only a 25 mile drive into town for me.
