nice work

Burnout - the truck is looking great - with the bed like you have it, and the channel job, the top already looks low (if not chopped). I like the proportions the way it is, but I'm not trying to convince you either way.

Got around to replacing the wood in the passenger door with metal and need to install the bear claw latch next. Going to try and use the orginal door handles. I still need to find 2 pieces of the driver door and it has not been easy.

Day late again

I dont know how i miss so many of these threads till there 3 - 4 pages long.Any how lookin good man. So many of the things that can be done with these rats is a matter of personal preferance. If it looks good to you and is techinaly correct its right. My frame under my cab is 3 1/2 inches off the ground and my cab which i did not have to channel - giving me more head room for my 3" chop- is 2 1/2" off the ground , stupid , insane , gonna be trouble if I get a blow out , you bet , but I like the low down look. Havent bottomed out yet , lucky I guess. Some guys like high boys and some like low ones, all personal preference. What size are your wheels and does Stockton have a web site ,I have 4 , 35 Ford wire wheels and one needs to be straightened.LFE

you can make the window channels your looking for , for your doors from this stuff , its metal shelf bracket channel that you can buy at home depot or lowes , I think a 3 ft. pc. is about $4...... then you can order the rubber window channel from www.restorationspecialties.com , just make sure you measure the i.d. of the track so the rubber will fit in tight....`24

Build is looking really good. The frame and suspension are looking sweet.
(Here is a little tech tip. Move your ground to the frame or the axle housing, if you ground there is runs through the bearings, and makes a little arc on them.)

I swear you and I think the same... I just started looking at this thread and almost wrote a message along the same lines.

24 Dodge I do have a pic or two. I posted the pic of my Binder so Burnout could see a chop. I'll find another location to post engine pics because I don't want to interfere with Burnout's excellent thread. I don't know why my pics are so big; I've sized them as thumbnails on Photobucket. ANyone have any pointers?

shanesflames that chop does lood good. Also, good score on the grill. Those are going for a pretty penny these days and very hard to find.
