i don't think so powerplant i was on the searh for a 37 ford p/u but ran across this one and jumped on it! (like a cat on a rat !) just thought the cab was way to cool then I got on here and found I was not the only one to like them:cool:
 
powerplant ,how hi does your axle sit in relation to your back Z? I z'ed mine 20" from bottom of the main rail to the top of the back rail and if I go 6" grond clearance my driveshaft seems high
 
Height shouldn't matter, your pinion angle is what you should worry about. My driveshaft points upwards to my rear axle. I forget what I have the tail of the trans & the pinion set at for angle. Google driveshaft angles... there are probably better explanations out there than mine. I would measure for you but it is buried in the garage at the moment.
 
I love this build. Great job. Especially the spring mounts. Makes me want to cut mine off and redo them. Very nice.
