I have the front and rear end off a 37 ford I got for $200. I would like to use this on my model a coupe. What backing plates can I use to convert to juice brakes and still run the wide five set up?
It looks like most people use '39-'48 car or truck brake parts or you can check this place out, http://www.earlyv8garage.qpg.com , I know nothing about them it just came up on a quick Google search.
From what I read, the 39-41 will work but the 42-48 have a larger piston in the brake cylinder. I'm not real sure, and I'm sure someone that actually knows what they're talking about will chime in lol.
