38 chevy frame

i have 38 chevy p/u cab and chassis. would it feasable to z or lap the stock frame or just build new? if i build new could i buy the semi-elliptical front end kit from sreedway? or go suicide front end? keep in mine i'm on a fairly tight budget.

Use the frame you have, I'd say. Also that old Chevy axle could be used. Look at some of the pictures posted on the suicide front end threads. You could even use the same steering box if you raised the mount.
