39 Harley
39WLDR engine, factory racing engine, 45 cu. in. flat head twin, high compression heads, extra large finning on the cylinders , long duration cams. 1 1/2 inch intake, M-53 carb. Bike is homebuilt by me, rear frame section is 52 BSA, front section is homebuilt, front end is Paughco, it was something like 20 over and wrecked. I chopped 16 inches out of it, built a jig, and stuck it back together. Wheels are 80 Suzuki ( I just like them ) , tanks are 48 Panhead and so is the tranny, primary and shifter. I also made the seat and bags.

Nice bike... always loved those old flatties!!!
My buddy & I worked at a Yamaha dealership in high school & he rebuilt wrecked bikes. In a couple of years he made enough to buy a brand new XKE but had to sell it because the maintenance was so high on the dang thing! We're still buddies & have lunch with 4 other high school hot rod buds 5-6 times a yr! [dr
