4 door to truck????????

I have a 40 chevy 4 door body was wondering how it would look made into a truck. Has any one ever done this to a 40's chevy or ford before? Info pics. etc would help!

It sounds like a good idea, but I haven't seen one. The hardest part would be making the rear of the cab so it isn't too flat and looks factory.

I've seen pics of a 46 Olds 4-dr made into a truck. Used a truck cab rear section and matched the lines. Looked great! Kinda woulda liked to do that to mine, but I was already in the middle of a different idea.

Like SamFear said, I've seen it done too using a 46 ford sedan and the rear of a Ford pickup cab grafted on, also looked kool, sorry I didn't take a pic.
Are you thinking of making a 4 door pickup from it ? Now that would be different....

While I was waiting for a part to be delivered, owner of this conversion pulled up where I was sitting. I asked to take a few pics and soon It was getting alot of attention. Same thing happened to the ladies when I asked for them to take a pic in front of my fav car.
