Hope you priced it high enough to build a new one with better parts.

I know several people that have worked them selves into "really nice" rods that were paid for with sweat equity from 4 or 5 cars. They got to practice on the cars they sold, each one got better as they gained experience and learned from trial and error.

Good luck with the sale.

if it goes, this is next. im thinkin gasser or 1/4 mile nostalgic car.....i hope it dont go though..:(:(:(

For me, the fun is in the build. I would love to have all the money needed for a build from the start, instead of scrapping for 2 years like I did on the 48.

That is one of the reasons Roofus is being built from junk on hand....I don't have to save up to buy anything. I just build.

i love the build too, ive built everything from 95hp garden tractors, to 475hp mudtrucks..if it burns fuel and makes smoke, im all in!!!!!:D

i think my next step will be centered on the cab for a while. i want to cut the floor out completely and do about a 3" channel, the cab floor isn't terrible, but i dont wanna comprimise any safety issues. i think a new floor is the only way to go. i think as far as the cab mounts go, im thinking of hinging the front and putting airbags on the rear, kinda like a air ride system on modern road tractors. any thoughts or concerns???????

Magnet are you going to leave it sitting that high in the back? If not I would get it at ride height now before I made a decission on where to place the bed.

it sat really low when i got it, the roads around here are pretty rough. if i lower anything it'll be a slight channel on the cab.
