I've had 2 of these & they run great. Have one in my Nova as we speak. Not bad for a slam-in crate motor IMO! All ya need is a starter & carb! Even has a roller cam!

I'm a big crate motor fan. When I was younger I used to tear my motor apart, haul it down to my favorite rebuilder, buy a rotating assembly, port the heads etc and screw it all back together. I considered that big fun. Now at my age, I'd rather buy something I like, slam it in and hit the road again.
