Sorry about the delay, I sent you a couple more diagrams from the ranger.
I got so busy with the truck I just didn't get you your diagrams very quickly..

Hope they help.

Got the wiring harness off the bench and mounted in the truck.

Next up getting it all connected. Still trying to figure out where I'm going to put the battery.

Yikes! That's a whole lot of wires to sort out. My Reo project only has two fuses.

I know you'll do well though.

On the battery thing, is there enough room to put it behind the dash?
I found I had just enough room to put a fabbed battery box and have the side posts setup on the firewall.

Thats an interesting idea. I have an art deco heater going in that area. Putting some thought into a frame mount behind the cab.

My dodge has the stock dash in it, there would be more than enough room for a battery to fit in there. But, it already had a frame mount battery behind the cab.

Got rid of the stock air cleaner in favor of this Chevy hubcap. Had an old 9" filter base on the shelf and found this new K&N filter on Amazon for $16 shipped.

Made a bracket for the Ranger cigar lighter. Found some nice indicator lights at NAPA.

Mounted the volt gauge, ignition and headlight switches. Can't remember where the ignition switch came from, but it has a GM square key with an IH logo.

Driveshaft is shortened and reinstalled.

Got the windshield to open a little bit.

Took a spare windshield mechanism and got it working again. It needed some teeth filed to work smoothly.

Was hoping the drop down battery box would show up this morning, but UPS has had it in Illinois since Friday.

Welded up the brackets for the running boards today. [;) Thanks Bob!

They might be an inch long, step stool is the right height for mock up.

Got the stuff from Dodge Central of Michigan to rebuild the cowl lights. All new lenses and innerds, now they will function as turn signals as well as marker lights.

Stripped the rear frame, getting new brackets. The old ones were froze solid.

Got the 8.8 installed, mostly. Still need to weld on the shock mounts.

All the brackets were bad. Used the spring pack out of the explorer.

Dana 35 is ready to go in.

I don't know what it is about this build, but I really dig it.
Almost every time I run across it I read it all the way through.

Keep up the good work & sharing!

This is really cool; I have a 90 Ranger with a rebuilt 2.3 I use for a daily driver. Great running truck but the cab is beat up and rusted out. You're giving me ideas!
