Thanks guys. I really appreciate the comments.
I think this site has the greatest bunch of people around.

I went to Belen in it today and parts started falling off it. Seems someone
didn't tighten the bolt for the left front fender brace. The good news is I went back and found everything except one lock washer.

more small stuff

I decided I might as well use the wasted space behind the dash so I made a glove box that is a lot larger. I had to clip the corners to clear the cowl vent
mechanism and the outside of the cab. I can always use more storage.
Also made a couple of pieces to trim out around the seat base.

Killing time till I gather up so more money to throw at this project.

Sweet! How much for a twin of that? [cl

Thanks guys.

That will hold a six pack or two of good real sugar pepsi :D
Nice work [;)

It will probably just be another catch all to pile full of useless but priceless junk.

Nice and should last a lot longer than the cardboard ones.

I just couldn't bring myself to pay nearly $30 plus freight for a piece of card board. This one will out last me I'm sure.

She is looking good my friend. Keep at it and I might never catch up to you with my build.

It won't be very hard catching up on the building since all I seem to want to is drive this thing. But that's why I built it right.

Thanks Todd. I could build you one for $75 plus the ride.
I'll have to get some more material but I need to do that any way. Just let me know if you want one.

I'd trade for some door glass run channels if you have any.

Nice Job Pops....

Great idea...box looks great....when you get to the glove box does that mean she's about fully completed?? lol..

No it means I'm broke again and doing the little things that doesn't cost anything. I get money once a month and stay broke 3 weeks out of every
month with my current financial plan. Ha!

Good to hear from you again. You have been missed.

I decided I would separate the hood top from the side panels this weekend.
I just never have liked the way they looked with the hood props holding it up.
Gonna make it so I can have the sides on or off with the hood on.

I think the hood looks better open with out the sides. What do you guys think?

I also pulled the rear springs off to get them re-arched for a little bit more rear to front rake. The chain is so I can still have it on the lift to work on it.

It should cool better with no hood sides. ...but, I would hate to lose the spring loaded latches that are stock. I happen to like 'em.
