I like it behind the axle with less angle..may have to cut the bottom off to get that angle but I think it would look great..

Since it's a roller, roll it outside so you can get a good look at it. (and take pics for us:D)

It's too hard to get a good idea on that grill in the garage. I'm torn between the two. If you use the hood, narrow it to match the grill. Also, you'll need to cut the top of the grill and re-angle it so it's level wit the rest of the car. Might work better with horizontal bars rather than vertical.

update

Well got some new used tires on the front. Decided on grille placement and mock up of bed. Just not sure if I should narrow it and run the fenders?

No fenders.

Will you have enough space for a fan?

I'll be running an electric fan it ought to clear. I'm just hopeing the radiator im getting rebuilt cools ths motor. If not then i have a back up new radiator but will mean having to redo all the plumbing and mount it in back.

I really like your setup and grille a lot, I'm a big fan of the grille in front of the front axle tipped back.

In my humble opinion taking out 10" or so would give you the ability to have the grille and lights up front and not have a monster gap from the grille housing to the front of the motor.

I like the rake of the grill tuck it up close to the motor then hang those big dawg lights out front. Like on your axle out front.
