speaking of phone numbers on truck doors. I have a picture of a 21 chevy truck door that the phone number was 5. nothing else, just phone: 5!

It's to semi-conceal the fact that it's an AD cab!

Bob, I first used a laser to mark it then. I cut it with an angle grinder and thin cutoff wheel.

LOL, It's to make resemble a 37 GM truck body with rounder attributes.

Torchie, I narrowed it 8" which is 2" less than my 37 GMC. The thickness of the doors will give it the same outside width as the 37

Using an AD cab as a bobber type truck doesn't look right as they're too big and wide. Narrowing will help to give it a much better look along with the section and chop reducing the bulk of the cab.

l like the smaller cab, lookin' good,

a friend of mine in 1988 made a 7/8 scale AD truck by slicing and dicing every piece on it, looked normal till it was parked next to a full size one.
