Fantastic work, and at a speed that I can only dream of!
Thanks for taking the time to keep us posted, and for all the pictures.

J Gannon
Bogota Nj

We lost the Bogota part on the 4" cutout :(

There's another name under that but, we can't make it out [S

Cut it at the belt-line so I don't have to fight the top.

I still don't get the whole narrowing thing? I'm sure it will look cool but I don't get it LOL

This should make it about two butts wide, instead of the original three. Or about the same as a late 30s/early 40s cab. But, it is a bunch longer, which is cool. [clI am starting to think your customer has something going here. :D

Butts were a lot smaller back then Skip.:D [ddd
How much did you narrow it OI?
Torchie

What did you cut that with & how did you get the lines so straight?!? [S

BoB
Bob, I first used a laser to mark it then. I cut it with an angle grinder and thin cutoff wheel.

LOL, It's to make resemble a 37 GM truck body with rounder attributes.

Torchie, I narrowed it 8" which is 2" less than my 37 GMC. The thickness of the doors will give it the same outside width as the 37 :)

a friend of mine in 1988 made a 7/8 scale AD truck by slicing and dicing every piece on it, looked normal till it was parked next to a full size one.

funny thing, you narrowed yore rod and l widend mine[;) great ideas in opposite directions[cl

Later:cool:

Had to move it out of the shop to work on another project :(
I brought it back in this morning and done some work on the top.
