54 Belair full Kustom

Yes it is a 69 RS grill and bumper with head light doors for parking/turn signals.
It is a work in progress that was the 1st drawing and I will keep working on it.
The orig car is a 2 door post and he wants a hard top and likes the fush glass idea. I am thinking 65 Impala top maybe. But we know for sure it will have a LS 427 and ride on C6 vette style suspenders. Full on pro touring custom.

With the finish of the street race car we are finally going to get started on the 54. Sofar we have 2 roofs one for a mock up so we don't have to butcher the only good one we could find. We have the 56 Olds front fenders the 54 Desoto grill, 57 chevy frt bumper 54 Caddy rear bumper, all the air ride parts. the Fat man frt end. the Gambino C-notch 4 bar rear and a bunch of other odds n ends.
This will happen fast n furious as soon as the white stuff starts to fall and if you guys want I will start a build thread once it really starts happening.
Today just for giggles we did some mock up and cut most of the 54 roof off just to see if the 58 will fit at all. I am thinking all is well and as I hoped the 58 stock rear glass is gona work. So here is a bit of a tease. LOL

Looks like Camaro RS headlight covers on each side of the grille.
Gonna have to tweak this drawing like you did the 54.
If you could come up with some ingenious way of changing the style of the headlights, that would be cool. No one ever changes them on a 58.

65 Impala headlights ?

Using that brow section of the 65 fender too.

Played around a little more today on the 54. With one of the 54 roofs we managed to get the rear package tray (a very cool piece in itself)and most of the orig pinch weld where the bottom of the glass sits. After a lot of trimming on it and the 54 I have it in position for the glass to rest on and that will dictate how the roof will sit.
Remember this is the stock rear 58 glass, no cutting at all.

I have been so busy I haven't been able to post anything here or ven on my FB page. The 54 is well underway and at this point it is just easier for anyone interested to use the link above to see it, hope it works.

PS. If this thread can be moved to the build section I will try to update it as I can. This car is going to be nut's.
