That seems to happen a lot. You get the main part installed, then there are numerous smaller issues that are a headache to get ironed out.

I'd like to have that shop truck.

I have some original backing plates for a bronco if it helps. They are the rare 10" type as 90% of the time they used 11" brakes. I am going to try fitting disks on mine but Im having trouble as Ford used the "small" bearings with the large 5.5" pattern but there is a guy selling a kit on ebay that I'm gunna try.

Thanks for the offer SBJ, Terry got all the needed parts from a Bronco specialist. That's after buying a bunch of stuff that didn't work. I see you live in 4WD racing territory.
Regarding the shop truck, Terry made the entire bed and the grille from scratch. It has a Mustang II front using an original crossmember and eBay Mustang leaf springs in the rear. It rides and handles great.

SmallBlock, I've got a similar setup in my 31 from a 80's Lincoln, with 5on5. I used front rotors from a Jeep Grand Cherokee, had to mill a little out of the center hole to fit over the axle flange, you can buy the brackets for the calipers from Speedway, and I used calipers from a 80's GM Monte Carlo, Cutlass, Buick etc. Be sure to use an inline pressure valve. (Sorry no pics available) but ya can see my stuff here

I finally got a pic of the finished car. Michael and his girlfriend drove the Chevy 150 miles to Brainerd and put several runs on it down the dragstrip. Then they drove it home. It sure has the early gasser stance.

Don't know how I missed this from the git. Nice gasser your friends have there, bob w. Any more pictures of the build ?

Ya know, since you can't see the aftermarket IFS on John's '31 Chevy, the scene could be from "back in the day". Thanks, Bonehead.
