56 Chevty Wagon not really a rat but a bit of a hot rod

I bought this as a well started project about 12 years ago. It runs great but it's not really a hot rod. I installed a 305 SBC and a 700R4 because I used it as my 70 mile a day commuter when I was still working. It's still my daily driver.

Nice little Chebby. The license plate is kinda' "ratty" lookin'. That is good enough for me.

One way of passing the test is to have a hand in building an old car, driving that car for many miles as the daily driver, and still having a nice looking car to show off.
