Hey all,
I did an intro explaining the new account since I could no longer access my old account.
If you want to see any previous builds, they are under Old Gold.
I stopped posting regularly about a dozen or so years ago. Built quite a bit in between since then.
I took some time off from the entire car scene a few years ago to focus on other things. Sold off about 2/3 of my collection of projects figuring I’d probly never get to them.
Held in to about a half dozen that had sentimental value.
Anyway, I’m ready to get back into building.
Gonna jump back on this one I started about 4 years ago since it was the last one I put in the barn and the easiest to get out. Lol
1966 thunderbird, the quarters were packed pretty good with some shoddy patches and about an inch of filler.
I replaced the quarters with full panels, patched some floor rust then decided I was gonna do a build on it.
So far I’ve started a 2” chop, molded the rear bumper, and completely redesigned the trunk opening (didn’t like the way ford did it).
I’ll be jumping back on this in a few weeks and will hopefully be more diligent with posting progress on here.
Don’t plan on too many other mods other than narrowing and tucking the front bumper, and possibly full air ride……we’ll see.
