85 water pump on a 89

Does anyone know if a 85 Chevy water pump will fit an 89 ..alot of weird stuff happened in 87 but im assuming the attacments to the block would be the same.. Speedway has Al thier pumps only listed to 85

I think it depends on wich pulleys you use. I think one turns the other way. I have seen them run hot because of that. Also, I think one has a bypass outlet and the other not.
