A cryin' shame....

My uncle brought this car home from Chicago 15years ago. He took off the front clip and removed the engine, then put it in the barn untill he could find time to finish it. He died 10years ago and never did find the time to finish it. Now it has sat in the barn for 15years, and my other uncle has been piling stuff on and around it. Some day im gonna go in the barn and see the roof caved in. Brings a tear to my eye thinking about it.

1963 Impala hard top, Complete bumper to bumper. The 409 is sitting on the floor in his garage along with the front clip.

My cousin owns it now, refuses to sell it. i can understand that, but why let it sit?

can TOTALLY relate....would make one super resto-rod...knew a guy down here who had a 63 SS hardtop 327 3spd it was sad when the barn it was in burned to the ground!
we've all known somebody with a cool project that wasn't for sale and was probably never gonna get fixed up either.....

Yep, real pi$$er. Same thing w/ the Model A we have on our place. The family drug it out of a barn about 40 years ago so it would sit there and rot to the ground. Sad......
