i ordered an Ac mount & alt mount assyfrom mail order shop in SC. said to be their most popular set-up. brackets installed per directions put both belts on same crank & wp pulley. i had to modify a lot. also the bracket assy was
directly over wp outlet for htr hose. welding on bracket was a thing
of beauty, it just didn't fit as it was supposed to.this was for sb chevy &
should have fit perfectly.i had to cut it up in several places & do a lot of
modifing to fit. i am sure i could have returned it before i started cutting it &
modifing it. it was made to bolt to top water pump bolts & first 2 intake bolts
on both sides. next time i will get different mounting system & will return to dealer & not modify if not a straight bolt on assy. the mount was made well & had great welds but just did not fit as advertised. i am not a whiner, just thought others might get in a mess if they can't weld.
